A Sylveon Christmas

"メリー　クリスマス、みんなさん！
Merry Christmas, everyone!"

Can anyone guess what my favorite Pokemon is? Because Fairy Type Pokemon are awesome and ya'll know it!!

I was at a meeting and was asked to make a Christmas Card out of some cardstock. But they offered little else to make it with. I sketched something out, not taking it very seriously. Later on, I decided I liked the doodle enough, so I inked it and made a full illustration out of it. Besides, I needed to make a holiday-themed deviation sooner or later, right? XD

The Sylveon and the fact the girl has pink hair is completely random. lol I was just drawing something and felt like adding in my favorite Pokemon in it. I figured Sylveon is already a present because it already has bows and ribbons on it (which by the way, the Pokedex entry states that those ribbons are its "feelers" thus, they ARE in fact FLESH just to clear things up...)!! I have no clue. And then the girl I just felt like ought to match her Sylveon. XD

My favorite part was doing the clothing! I'm a fan of everything elegant and royal, thus I always loved luxurious fabrics with embroidery and intricate designs. It just seemed natural to go back in and add in all the fine details in the clothing to give it more depth.
